The CGRMP is the manager of the Matapedia and Patapedia River Wildlife Reserve, the Dunière Wildlife Reserve and the Chutes et Marais site, a 100% natural salmon observation site.

NATURAL SITES & LANDSCAPE
Without being a park, the inhabitants have created a humanized and preserved environment, characterized by an agro-forestry landscape between valleys and plateaus, all crisscrossed by beautiful country roads. For several years, the municipalities have developed various tourist attractions easily accessible to visitors, places whose beauty was long kept secret.
Today, photographers, authors of guidebooks and specialized films come to these places to immortalize a point of view or an emotion of freedom.
Route des Belvédères Matapédia-et-les-Plateaux
Major attractions in the Matapédia-et-les-Plateaux region, in the southeastern part of the Gaspé Peninsula, the first two architecturally exceptional structures of the future Belvedere road offer visitors a spectacular view of the mountain and river landscape.

ATV trails
Passing through all the municipalities of Matapédia-et-les-Plateaux, the ATV trails will give you a colorful experience. There is nothing like ATVing to cover hundreds of kilometers, discovering the superb panoramas of mountains and rivers!
The trails of the Club quad Avignon Ouest will allow you to join the network of trails of the ATV Club of the Matapédia via a 35 km course which starts in L’Ascension-de-Patapédia. At the eastern end of Saint-André-de-Restigouche, trails will take you to the Pointe-à-la-Croix sector.
